This August, we’re taking a journey to an uber specific period of time, 2002-2010. This period following 9/11 captures our host and programmer’s high school and college years as budding film lovers. Not necessarily the best, biggest, or most beloved, but key moments in time that helped spawn a lifelong pursuit of cinematic discovery. Join us starting this Friday the 7th with the loosely Ohio-affiliated 2002 psychological horror film The Mothman Prophecies. The screening will include a live Q+A from Camera Operator Steve Drellich. As always, check out our companion podcast where we provide acute analysis of our month’s calendar in a fun and engaging listening format. All films will be presented in 35mm unless otherwise noted.
